Padmavati is an up and coming 2017 Indian epicperiod drama film coordinated by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, in view of the epic poem Padmavat (1540) by Malik Muhammad Jayasi. The film features Deepika Padukone in the title part as Rani Padmavati, alongside Shahid Kapoor as Rawal Ratan Singh and Ranveer Singh as Alauddin Khilji, with Aditi Rao Hydari and Jim Sarbh in supporting parts. The film is planned for discharge on 1 December 2017.

Casts of Padmavati movie: 

Deepika Padukone as Padmavati -
A thirteenth century[6] legendary Hindu Rajput queen and the spouse of Rajput lord Ratan Singh (otherwise called Ratan Sen), the ruler of Mewar. Known for her magnificence, concurring to Padmavat, Sultan Alauddin Khilji blockaded Singh's capital Chittor inspired by his want to catch Padmavati.

Shahid Kapoor as Ratan Singh -the Rajput leader of the kingdom of Mewar.

Ranveer Singh as Alauddin Khilji -the second and most intense leader of the Khalji dynasty of the Delhi Sultanate. He obtained the position of royalty by killing his fatherly uncle and father-in-law, Sultan Jalaluddin Khilji. Agreeing to Padmavat, he laid seige to Chittor roused by his want to catch Ratan Singh's significant other, Padamavati.

Aditi Rao Hydari as Mehrunisa -the primary spouse of Alauddin Khilji and the girl of his fatherly uncle, Jalaluddin Khilji.

Anupriya Goenka as Nagmati-
she was the principal wife and boss ruler of Ratan Singh concurring to Padmavat. She wound up noticeably envious of her significant other's second spouse, Padmavati.

Raza Murad as Jalaluddin Khilji -the organizer and first Sultan of the Khalji administration of the Delhi Sultanate. He wedded his little girl to his nephew, Alauddin, who killed him to get the throne.

Jim Sarbh as Malik Kafur -a prominent eunuch slave-general of Alauddin Khilji.
